Filing Insurance
At Ravenscroft we try to take the headache out of dealing with insurance. We are looking for ways to make it easier for our patients, so if you have suggestions, please let us know.
Any co-pay (or co-insurance) is due at the time of service. We will gladly bill your insurance company for the remainder. There may be additional balances after Insurance payment such as deductibles and non-covered services. If so, we will let you know.
We currently participate with Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medcost and Crescent health plans. All other insurances can be billed after payment in full by the patient.
Any amounts paid by those companies will go directly to the patient. Keep in mind deductibles, and co-insurances may be higher for out of network providers.
Hospital Coverage
In order to ensure you receive the most prompt acute care possible, patients in the hospital are seen by the hospital's attending staff. This ensures the best possible communication between departments within the hospital. Every Ravenscroft physician maintains a close working relationship with the attending doctors at each of the hospitals in our area. We are kept informed of your progress and work with the hospital staff to see that you get the best care possible. Once you are discharged, you will be prompted to schedule a follow-up appointment in our office so that we can monitor your recovery.
